Mike's Hangout
About QSI is honored to win 2nd place for the 2013 NFBA Building of the Year Award. The owner plans to use the building for work, storage, recreation, entertaining friends and family, and occasional living space. The building's first use was the cause of a tight construction timeline. The oldest of the owner's daughters used the space for her wedding and receptions immediately following the building's completion. A combination of scissor trusses, mono trusses, 2x10 rafters, 6x6 rafters and ridge beam, 4 ply posts, 6x6 cedar posts, 6x6 treated posts, and 2x6 studs were used in the construction. It showcases on eave, below eave, partial, full length, wraparound and a timber framed open gable lean-tos. Highlights Project: Hobby Shop |
